Wingfoil Travel Event – Hood River & The Gorge

Join us for an EPIC adventure in the one and only Columbia River Gorge! Prepare for a week of exploration, skill development and community building in THE MOST ICONIC wing foiling location in the USA!

Where: Hood River, Oregon (USA) (and the surrounding area)
When: Friday July 19 – Saturday July 27, 2024 (this is a 9 day window, come for whatever dates you can)
Pricing: $500 for ticket

Hood River and the Columbia River Gorge needs no introduction… literally the most legendary wind spot on the west coast. There’s a reason that multiple windsport brands are based here, many pro riders, the entire town is setup around the needs of wind riders and the national wind conference (AWSI) happens here every year.

The best part is that the daily thermal winds run counter to the fresh water flowing from Mount Hood to the Pacific Ocean and depending on the location creates perfect beginner conditions or crazy swells. A chain of locations along the river offers a range of conditions from Bridge of the Gods, Swell City, downtown Hood, to martian-Rufus and Gnarlington. Beginners are welcome at this event although to enjoy the full range of conditions it’d be best to have solid intermediate riding abilities.

NOTE: This will be a unique event. Unlike typical events, we’re not staying in a hotel (although you can if you want). Our group will be based out of sprinters and RVs so we can chase the wind and enjoy the full range of conditions the area can offer.
