Windchime Workshop

Join Steve and Fran Boston for a Garden Show workshop!
Students will have their choice of glass that has been fired in a kiln and then drilled as well as metal tubes in a several sizes for assemblage into a set of wind chimes to take home. There will be a variety of glass colors available. They will then put together their wind chimes using fine cording and crimp beads to secure the connections. There will also be glass and a Dremel tool available if students want to learn to drill glass. Students are encouraged to bring their own needle nose pliers and scissors. There will be some available to share.
About the instructors:
Steve has been doing stained and etched glass for over twenty years. Fran has been working with warm glass, fusing pieces in a kiln as well as etched glass and glass mosaics over 15 years.
