Ski & Shred Meetup: Mt. Hood Meadows

February 23 @ 8:30 am

Join Queer Mountaineers for a ski and snowboarding meetup event at Mt. Hood Meadows.

Come join Queer Mountaineers for a fun day on the mountain!
This is a meet-up style event! All participants are responsible for their safety and must adhere to all posted rules and etiquette of Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort. This is not an instructional event and no lessons will be provided.
You are welcome to bring a group, and we will help facilitate groups based on experience. Mt. Hood Meadows has terrain for all levels.
We’ll gather as a group a few times throughout the day:
-8:30am: Gather as a group on the 1st floor of Sahale Lodge.
-12pm: Gather as a group on the 2nd floor of Sahale Lodge for a lunch break.
-3:30pm: Regroup on 2nd floor of Sahale Lodge before departing.
Participants must provide their own equipment and lift tickets. Tickets can be purchased online in advance here . Equipment rentals are available at the resort as well as a number of shops in Portland or on the way to the mountain.
We will be out on the mountain rain, snow, or shine so please pack for the weather accordingly. The event will only be cancelled if the weather is severe or mountain conditions seem unsafe.
