Join us at the historic Balch Hotel the first weekend of November as we feature a duo of our favorite local winemakers over two nights of tastings, dining experiences, and live music, with special pricing when you bundle both nights. Make it the ultimate food and wine escape, a cozy date night, a catch-up with friends, or just a delicious excuse to unwind!

Sip and savor at this relaxed after-dinner event featuring winemaker Tom Peters from the exceptional Shadowbuck Winery. From 6:30 – 8:30pm, we’ll gather in the Balch’s cozy, historic lobby for live music, a curated dessert and cheese course by Bistro 1907, a selection of wine tastings to accompany, and a full pour of Shadowbuck’s finest. Tillinghast Mtn Duo (on cello, banjo, guitar) will perform both nights as a weekend residency.

Enjoy a night of wine and culinary artistry with Tierra de Lobos Winery and guest chef Myron Ochaeta, along with live music to accompany. The star of this 4-course menu is a succulent braised duck with aromatic vegetables and wine-poached pear. Each course will be paired with tastings from winemakers Adolfo and Gabino, including the much-anticipated pre-release of the 2019 Malbec. Ordinarily only open to Tierra de Lobos’ wine club members, this is a special opportunity for Balch guests!
