On June 26th at 7pm, Columbia Center for the Arts is proud to host local author Sam Moses sharing excerpts and stories from his latest book, River Without a Cause. The book follows his journey down Theodore Roosevelt’s “River of Doubt” in Brazil with a diverse crew of adventurers, scientists, and indigenous leaders who explore the past, present, and future of a natural treasure few have seen.
Moses is a former senior writer for Sports Illustrated and the author of several books, including Fast Guys, Rich Guys and Idiots, At All Costs: How a Crippled Ship and Two Merchants Mariners Turned the Tide of World War II and It Doesn’t Get Any Better Than This.
