Renato Caranto and Louis Pain Live Music
March 23 @ 7:30 pm
Hear two of Oregon’s greatest musicians this Saturday evening in the Hood River Hotel lobby. Saxophonist Renato Caranto is a force of nature who plays, unforgettably, from the depths of his soul. He has recently toured with Grammy-winner Esperanza Spalding and was a member of music Legend Merle Haggard’s world-touring band for several years. Louis Pain is the reigning King of Northwest Hammond B3 organ players at the apex of his storied career. Both musicians have played for over 25 years in Portland’s famous Mel Brown B3 Organ Quartet. They will be joining locals Chic Preston on guitar and vocals, and Mike Grodner on drums for an evening of sizzling Funk, R&B and Jazz in the stately and comfy HR Hotel lobby. This is “Jazz by the Fireplace” on jet fuel, folks. ⁹ Front desk bar, Dancing, and family and good dog friendly.
