Reconnecting the Historic Columbia River Highway, Troutdale to The Dalles

Wasco County Historical Society invites the public to its first presentation of its summer series at the Moody/Rorick House, 300 W. 13^th St., The Dalles.  On Saturday, June 8^th, at 11:00 a.m., Jeanette Kloos, President of the Friends of the Historic Columbia River Highway, will update us on the progress of reconnecting the existing and reconstructed segments along this century-old highway, the King of Roads, from Troutdale to The Dalles.  Free event, refreshments, 1850 Moody/ Rorick House tour.  As the presentation is in the backyard of the historic home, lawn chairs are welcome.
