Stop Kiss is a comedic drama by Diana Son. It focuses on the touching story of two young women who slowly discover that they might be falling in love. When their tentative first kiss provokes an act of violence, their lives are transformed in ways they couldn’t have predicted.

The narrative weaves between the present and the past, unraveling the complexities of their connection and the impact of societal expectations.

Through the lens of trauma and recovery, Son skillfully examines themes of friendship, self-discovery, and the courage required to confront one’s true feelings in the face of adversity. “Stop Kiss” resonates with emotional depth, capturing the essence of human connection in the midst of adversity.

Trigger warnings: Descriptions of assault and hate crime. Recommended for mature audiences.
