Judi Blaze Signing and Talk

Local author Judi Blaze will read from and discuss her latest book Riding in the Backseat with my Brother. Copies will be available from the author for signing. Join us in the main library at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, March 19th for this free author event.
“Riding in the Backseat with my Brother is about my life growing up an Irish Traveler, Gypsy, nomad, or whatever they wanted to call us. Roving through the 50’s and 60’s, steered by two Gemini parents—one a Scots Irish carpenter, the other a wannabe Jewish princess—we moved in search of a place to settle and call home. My little sister sat between my parents in the front seat while my brother and I, perched high on a pile of blanket-covered boxes, watched the world go by in the backseat of a black Hudson.”
Judi Blaze is an award-winning novelist, former print and media journalist, editor, and screenwriter. She has published three novels, a book of short stories, a memoir, a feature screenplay, and has many other novels and screenplays in the works.
