Historic HR: walking w/The History Museum

Downtown historic walking tours are being offered by The History Museum on Friday mornings this summer.  Learn about the interesting people and businesses that have populated downtown Hood River and the buildings they built.

Walking tours will take place every Friday at 9am, from July 19 through September 6.  Guests should be able to walk 1/2 mile on downtown sidewalks with some gentle incline.  Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and a bottle of water recommended.  

Tickets are $10 per person and available at www.hoodriverhistorymuseum.org or at the museum. Admission to the museum is included with your walking tour ticket.  Walks are limited to 12 guests.

Meet at the salmon fountain/ flagpole at 2nd and State Streets, next to Horsefeathers Hotel. Note that the tour does NOT start at The History Museum.
