Gorge Winds 4th of July Concert

The Gorge Winds Concert Band will perform its 4th of July Concert on the stage in The Dalles City Park at 11 A.M., immediately following the parade.  Music lovers are invited to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets to sit on the grass and enjoy a variety of musical selections at the outdoor stage. The performance will include stirring patriotic numbers including familiar John Phillip Sousa marches. It will also feature lively arrangements of popular and familiar themes from movies, Broadway musicals and television, by top composers John Williams, Leonard Berstein, Henry Mancini and Lennon-McCartney plus a couple compositions specifically for concert bands. There is no charge for this event though donations are encouraged. City Park is located at 707 Union Street in the Dalles. Please join the Gorge Winds in celebrating Independence Day 2024!
