Join us for a special Summer Solstice edition of our Songwriter Round series! This show will feature two sets of three artists, each sharing three songs and the stories behind them! This month features Blair Borax, Nate Norton, Lindsie Feathers, Linoy Yechieli, Cass Weaver, and Kyle J. Glenn.

BLAIR BORAX

With a distinctive voice and a thoughtful way of songwriting, Portland’s indie folk singer-songwriter, Blair Borax sings honest and emotive songs that bring you to the heart of being human and make you feel less alone.

NATE NORTON

Dubbed “folk for the dark night of the soul”, Nate Norton’s music is an authentic and tenacious dive into the human condition. His classical-and-flamenco-inspired fingerstyle guitar is met with brassy vocals to emit a guiding flame through apocalyptic times.

LINDSIE FEATHERS

Sweetheart of the Rodeo, Lindsie Feathers, roots go back to Illinois where she grew up and Chicago where she cut her teeth playing live music. In 2006, Feathers moved to Oregon. She’s gone from playing rock n’ roll to psychedelic to an Americana inspired Country sound. She is recording a slew of material with her new band that is set to release in 2024.

LINOY YECHIELI

LINOY is a singer-songwriter based in Portland – a multilingual singer with a soulful sound. She released her debut album in Hebrew last summer and is working on some new folk-rock tunes for you! Join her to overcome social anxiety through music :)

CASS WEAVER

Cass Weaver has long been a lover of good storytelling. She is inspired by a vast range of artists- from George Strait to Jack White , to Taylor Swift, to Elvis Costello – genre is of little concern, rather the stories that inspire. Her favorite thing is to reimagine others’ songs in new form, but tonight will be her debut in sharing her own tales with an audience.

KYLE J. GLENN

Unapologetically raw and sung straight from the heart, the Portland-based Kyle J. Glenn’s music juxtaposes inner monologues with triumphant declarations. Bittersweet chords collide against hope-tinged lyrics, taking listeners on a captivating sonic journey that ebbs and flows between tension and resolution.
