Come learn the basics of gardening to set you up for success this spring. Ideas on how to care for your soil, seed starting, and tips and tricks for a successful garden, including irrigation and garden design. You will walk away from this workshop with a better understanding of how to get started on your garden and ensure its success into the season.
Plant Sale: Get your annual vegetable, annual flower and perennial flower starts! Prices vary $3 – $5 per plant start. Please bring cash or Venmo.
Rachel comes from a lifetime of loving the garden from her experience on her family’s small farm growing up, a degree in agricultural entomology, work as a community based educator in gardening and farming, as well as the almost half acre garden that she maintains now. Rachel comes with a varied interest in plants from their medicinal uses, healthy and nutritious foods, and even the encouragement of beneficial insects to manage pests in the garden.
