Food Hero Volunteer Training

Do you want to be a local Food Hero?
OSU Extension in Hood River County is holding a Food Hero Volunteer training! This one day, 5 hour training will cover food safety basics, demonstration best practices, addressing food insecurity in our communities, edible gardening and more. Food Hero volunteers help with a variety of nutrition programming at local food banks, schools, low-income housing gardens and community events.
