Wasco County Historical Society invites the public to its third presentation of its summer series. On Saturday, August 10th, at 11:00 a.m., Linda Meanus, Warm Springs Tribal Elder, educator, author of “My Name is LaMoosh”, and granddaughter of Flora and Chief Tommy Thompson, will share her knowledge of her people’s culture and histories. in Tayler Hall, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1805 Minnesota St., The Dalles. Free event, refreshments served. (The entrance to Tayler Hall is on the west side of the church, via Montana St.)
