Fall Leaf Walk
October 26 @ 10:00 am
Join Emily Martin, Mindfulness Teacher and Forest Bathing Guide, for a mindful nature walk at Doetsch Day-Use Area of Beacon Rock. Emily will lead the group through a series of mindful practices, including simple meditations and sensory exercises designed to enhance our connection to this beautiful place we call home. Slowing down and being present in nature has tremendous health benefits. During our walk, there will be time for introspection as well as time to connect with each other. This event is open to all, and we welcome individuals of all backgrounds and experience levels. We will be walking on uneven surfaces leaving from the parking lot and walking 1.2 miles with an elevation gain of 22 feet. This is an inclusive, welcoming space. Adults and kids are welcome to join.
