Ezra Blue’s Flight for Cancer

Join us for our second annual Fun Walk/Run in honor of Ezra Blue Duckwall, who passed away from brain cancer, at the age of 5, on November 12, 2022.

When: August 17, 2024

Where: Mark Hatfield State Park Mosier Twin Tunnels, Oregon

What is it: Our purpose is to raise funds to directly support Seattle Children’s BrainChild clinical trials. This important research specifically targets relapsed or refractory CNS tumors, like the tumor Ezra had.

The main run is 7 miles, because Ezra would have been 7 years old this year. There is also a 9-mile, 3-mile, and 1-mile options.

Important info: When you register online, you will receive an exclusive 2024 t-shirt featuring Ezra Blue. Registration also includes some fun swag and entrance into the race.

All proceeds go to the Seattle Children’s pediatric brain cancer research clinical trial, BrainChild-03.

We want the whole community to show up and walk, run, or cheer! Anyone can walk/run at no cost; however, we encourage donations.

Registration in person is an option, beginning at 8am on 8/17/24.
