Dufur Hometown Christmas is a cherished tradition that offers a full day of festive activities throughout the community, including an artisan fair, hands-on holiday workshops, festive treats, wine tasting, live music, Dufur’s famous lighted tractor parade after sundown, and more!

Located on the eastern edge of the Gorge in the foothills of Mt. Hood, with snow-capped mountain views and a cozy, small-town atmosphere, Christmas in Dufur feels timeless and authentic. Come for the day or make it a getaway with a stay at the historic Balch Hotel!

9am – 4pm: Holiday craft bazaar at the Catholic Hall

11am – 4pm: Photos & treats with Santa

(11am – 1pm at We3, 2 – 4pm at Dufur Market)

1 – 6pm: Festive food & drink specials at Bistro 1907 at the Balch Hotel

1 – 4pm: Live nativity scene at the Dufur Living History Museum

1:30 – 3:30pm: Wreath-making workshop with the Gorge Flower Forager at the Balch Hotel

1:30 – 3:30pm: Express spa treatments with Spa Sanctuary at the Balch Hotel

2pm into evening: Wine tasting in the ShadowBuck Tasting Room at Dufur Market

2 – 6pm: Wine tasting with guest winemaker Syncline Winery at the Balch Hotel

2:30 – 4pm: Cookie decorating at Dufur School with the Ranger Pride Foundation

3:30 – 5:30pm: Custom jewelry workshop with designer Tiffany Anne at the Balch Hotel

4 – 7pm: Live music at the Balch Hotel (holiday, bluegrass, Americana)

After sundown ~ approx 5pm: Main St. lighted tractor parade

Following the parade: Hometown roast beef dinner & live music at Dufur Market

6 – 8PM: Dining at Bistro 1907 at the Balch Hotel
