This unique opportunity invites artists of all levels to enhance their skills in figure drawing while exploring the intricate details of body art.
In this hands-on class, you will develop your ability to accurately represent the human form. Guided by our experienced instructor, you will learn the rule of Fifths to create well-proportioned figures. This foundational skill will help you achieve a more realistic portrayal of your subject. In addition, you will gain insight into human anatomy and how to position figures dynamically on paper. You will be taught techniques to observe and capture the model’s posture, ensuring lifelike representations. Finally, you will be instructed in the process of translating three-dimensional figures into two-dimensional sketches. You’ll learn to recognize depth and perspective, which are crucial for realistic drawing.
Our live model will showcase a variety of tattoos, providing a rich and textured subject for your drawings. This not only enhances your experience but also connects the practice of figure drawing with contemporary art forms.
