Darryl Frank Trio + Will Caviness live music

@ Wines on Second: The Darryl Frank Trio is back at Wines on Second this Friday performing a range of jazz standards and their jazzy take on a few more popular tunes. Joining them is trumpeter Will Caviness, a pro musician from NYC who we’re lucky to have living in THE DALLES now. Will has been described as possessing a rich, smoky tone on both trumpet and flugelhorn that is simultaneously beautiful and edgy.
Darryl Frank is a piano player from Mosier immersed in learning the language of jazz. Having studied with David Friesen, at Alan Jones’ AJAM Academy, and privately with Randy Porter and Angie Spinelli, he plays a range of jazz standards, originals and personal takes on Pop/Rock tunes. The trio also features Anthony Peters on bass and Andy Lade on drums.
