Central Gorge Master Gardener Association Spring Plant Sale on May 10
Locally grown vegetables, heirloom tomatoes, herbs, annual and perennial flowers, plus a popular selection of native shrubs will be available at the Central Gorge Master Gardener Association Spring Plant Sale. This annual fundraising event will be held Saturday, May 10, 9am to 1pm at the CGMGA greenhouse on the OSU Extension Service grounds, 2990 Experiment Station Drive, Hood River. Plants at the Master Gardener Spring Plant Sale will be available for purchase on May 10 while supplies last. Come early for the best selection.
All plants have been selected for success in the various growing climates of the Central Gorge including many flower varieties that attract pollinators and are drought tolerant. Master Gardeners will be available to assist with plant selections to suit your needs, as well as offering planting and growing recommendations. Plus, your gardening dollar goes further at the Master Gardener Plant Sale due to the low prices for quality, locally grown plants.

Back by popular demand, the Growing Gardeners Kids’ Corner will take place at the Spring Plant Sale again this year! This free event is for kids of all ages and the adults in their lives. Fun activities include a scavenger hunt, art projects and rock decorating. All participants will receive a seed starting kit so they can start a plant of their own at home.
The Garden Gathering series of monthly workshops will be presenting pop up workshops throughout the Plant Sale focusing on the topics of tomatoes and native plants. Be sure to catch these short workshops while you’re at the Spring Plant Sale.
The Master Gardener Plant Sale is a fundraiser for the Central Gorge Master Gardener Association. Central Gorge Master Gardeners is a division of the OSU Hood River County Extension Service and provides free beginning gardening classes and continuing education to home gardeners.
