“An Acceleration of Calling” with Rev. Barbara Prose
October 13 @ 10:00 am
Since callings are timeless, they can come at any time. Perhaps especially at times when the world’s needs become more urgent. Traditional cultures teach that we come into being with a spark within, which is ours to discover and express. As we witness the extreme violence of war, worry about the collapse of institutions which depend on trust, and get pulled into polarizing conversations about politics, it feels more important than ever that we recognize and be ready to offer our unique and authentic gifts to the world. Our congregational theme this month is “Vocation & Calling” and we look forward to learning more about the spark that lights each of us from within! There will be a story so please invite children and grandchildren to attend. This is the first service offered by the newly appointed Minister for the Mid-Columbia Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, Rev. Barbara Prose.
