Whether you are a tried-and-true wine enthusiast or just a beginner wanting to learn more about the world of wine, you can benefit from keeping a tasting journal. Document new wines and note the ones you particularly enjoyed! This workshop will explore simple hand painted art techniques, watercolor washes on watercolor paper, as well as using techniques of batiking and mixed media.
You’ll also learn from a wine steward of one of our favorite local wineries and enjoy a complimentary tasting to begin your wine tasting journal experience. All participants also receive a 2 for 1 tasting coupon (a $30 value) from Cathedral Ridge Winery to use anytime.
“As an innovative batik and mixed media artist, I have worked with some of the great traditional artists/craft-masters of the world. Every day, I am inspired by the rich cultural traditions and artistic methods I had the opportunity to learn from my many years overseas. My art is not only a celebration of these ancient art traditions but to pay homage to the people of these nations. I continue to create artistically today experimenting with paper, printmaking and mixed media in multi-dimensional pieces.” –Cheryl Rogers-Tadevich
