Online Portrait Collage Series – Pets or People

Thursdays from 8-9pm PST
June 25, July 2, and July 9th

From the comfort of your own home, join collage artist Jordan Kim for a series of *virtual* collage classes designed to offer a creative reprieve for your heart and mind. Participants will use cut paper and acrylic paint to make collaged pet or people portraits in the style of mixed media artist Michel Keck. Using the Zoom platform, Jordan will lead you through a playful art process designed to help you gain experience with mixed media collage techniques while focusing your creative energy on a person or pet that brings you joy. No art experience necessary! The class is $45 and includes all the makings for several weeks of artful fun. Fee includes most supplies. Participants can pick up supply kits at the Columbia Center for the Arts during normal gallery hours. All you need is:
• Sharpie
• Paint brushes (supply kit will include 1 brush, but if you have more, we’ll use them!)
• Printer – for printing template
• Printer Paper
• Markers (or any other art supplies you like to use!)

**All registrants need to send a photo with strong contrast (good bright and dark areas) of the pet or human face you want to collage to Jordan Kim at: jordan@foundandrewound.com at least 24 hours before the first class.
