This class has been canceled due to COVID-19. Oregon State University Hood River County Extension Service was notified of this through the following statement.

Oregon State University is committed to state, national and global efforts to reduce the risk and spread of COVID-19, while appropriately continuing the essential activities of teaching, research, OSU Extension and engagement. 

Until at least April 30, no non-essential OSU-sponsored events of more than 50 attendees will be permitted. All events with fewer than 50 attendees will be held with maximum social distancing.

If Master Gardeners are able to reschedule this class in the future, it will be listed again on Gorgecurrent.

 

Central Gorge Master Gardeners invite all members of the community to join us for a class on Growing Berries presented by Oregon State University Professor and Berry Crops Research Leader, Bernadine Strik. This class will be held on Saturday, March 14 from 1-4 pm at the Hood River Valley Christian Church, 975 Indian Creek Road, Hood River, OR.

No pre-registration is needed, just show up and pay your $10 class fee at the door. Cash and check only please. We’ll have coffee, tea and conversation before the class and at break.

Whether you’re new to gardening of have been gardening for decades, come join Oregon State University Extension Central Gorge Master Gardeners for this informative class.
