About Ben Morton:
Described as “one of the most decorated, passionate and all around strongest ambassadors of the ACA, and the ACA paddlesport certification,” Ben trains other paddlesport instructors in kayak, canoe, rescue and SUP. Ben’s Foundational Concepts course, designed exclusively for the LCCC, will draw on techniques that have been at the core of successful paddling for years.

About the LCCC:
The Lower Columbia Canoe Club is first and foremost a recreational paddling club. Club trips and events take place on flat water, moving water, and whitewater. Members paddle tandem and solo canoes, C-1s, hard shell kayaks, inflatable kayaks (IKs), and stand up paddle boards (SUPs). We offer skill building clinics and develop progression classes tailored to member needs. Off the river we host Take Out Talks in the spirit of all those great conversations you’ve had once the run is done.
