Meet us on Zoom to learn which birds to expect in the PNW’s coniferous, deciduous, and mixed forests, how to detect them by sight and sound, and which adaptations help them survive and thrive.

In this class, experienced birder Laura Whittemore will introduce you to the common birds of Pacific Northwest mature forests, such as kinglets, creepers, nuthatches, woodpeckers, and owls. Learn how to find and recognize these sometimes elusive species using location, behavior, plumage, and sound.
