Deaf Education Law for Parents & Advocates of Deaf/HH Students
This session is designed for parents and advocates for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (HH) students to be able to navigate a complex system of laws around development of evaluations and individualized education plans (IEPs) services for Deaf/HH students in school and educational placements.

This workshop will provide information regarding how special education law applies to Deaf/HH students and tools to be able to advocate for students when they do not have access to communication at school or cannot access a free appropriate public education.

All parents, advocates, and educational interpreters of Deaf/HH students are encouraged to attend!
