Wine, Wisdom, and Women
Celebrate Women’s History Month in White Salmon
In honor of Women’s History Month the White Salmon Valley Community Library and Soroptimist International of Mount Adams will be presenting Women of the Gorge: Wine, Wisdom and Women. The event will take place on Thursday, March 29 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the library’s Sprint-Baker Gallery. There is no charge to attend.
The program, featuring Molly Davis, local author of Blush: Women and Wine and local vintner Rachael Horn of AniChe Cellars in Underwood, Washington, will be an engaging and reflective program on the history of women and wine. Glasses of wine will be available for purchase to those over 21 years of age. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. Molly’s book will also be on sale at the event.
Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization working to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment, making them the perfect partner for the library for Women’s History Month.
