July 30-August 3, 1-4pm, Instructed by Sullivan Mackintosh
Ages: Completed 4th-8th Grade, Cost $100
Lights, sound, set, costumes, props—a lot goes into helping actors look great on stage! Participants will learn how to use design elements to tell a story, and navigate the practicalities of putting it all together. With an emphasis on collaboration and creative problem-solving, students in this hands-on workshop will design and create everything needed to bring the Robin Hood story to life, then “perform” as the tech crew for the public performance at the end of camp.
Please note students must have completed 4th-8th grade to attend. Students will perform an original production for the community on August 3 at 3pm in the Theatre!
Space is limited to 8 students (minimum 4); register early!
Please note that snacks will NOT be provided by Columbia Arts or the Instructor for this series. Parents are welcome to send students with non-refrigerated food and drink for this three-hour workshop.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
