Taking inspiration from folk and rock songwriting legends of the 60’s and 70’s, Troy Richmond Dixon blends the influences of country, rock, folk and soul into a modern style that is uniquely his own.
Born and raised in Jackson, Michigan, Troy has been writing, recording and performing his heartfelt and thoughtful brand of Americana/Roots music on the west coast for the last eight years. Troy has performed over 700 shows, from small cafes to theaters and festivals. Along with two previous CD releases, Troy has written over four hundred songs as well as numerous short stories and a volume of poetry.
