Enjoy live music on our popular vine-covered terrace every summer weekend, Memorial Day through September, from 1pm-5pm by some of the best performers in the Pacific Northwest.
A five-year reunion of the Portland Groove Collective will be playing an eclectic mix of originals including Jazz Rock, Salsa, Rumba, Brazilian and Afro-Cuban-based rhythm music that derives its musicianship from across the United States and the world to coalesce in the Pacific Northwest.
The Portland Groove Collective is a rhythmic jazz sextet from Portland Oregon, with an emphasis on latin influenced groove-oriented music. The P.G.C brings an exciting interpretation to jazz standards as well as producing an array of original music. Influences range from the relaxed and clear melodies of Antonio Carlos Jobim, the latin funk of Poncho Sanchez and Herbie Mann, to the precise arrangements and chordal labyrinths of Steely Dan. Original members, as well as current members of the Portland Salsa band Salsanova, conguero Jeff Burres and Singer percussionist bongo Gabriel Zayas Monge (from Puerto Rico), will be joining PGC for the reunion.
Portland Groove Collective looks forward to bringing exciting world beat rhythm and soul-stirring melodies to Maryhill Winery again after a brief five-year absence.
