Hood River County’s second Budget Workshop takes place November 8 at the Hood River Valley Adult Center (2010 Sterling Place). The public is invited to learn about and offer input on the County’s significant budget challenges. The event is held 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. As open house, drop-in format, attendees should plan to spend an hour to learn and discuss (which means arrive ANYTIME BETWEEN 6:30 and 7:30 (to stagger visitation).
Since 2006, Hood River County has pulled over $7 million from its Reserve Fund to balance each year’s budget, despite significant budget cuts.
