FEMA estimates nearly 40% of businesses do not survive a disaster or sudden emergency. Those that have a plan to manage and recover are far more likely to keep operating. Here in the Gorge we have wildfires, ice storms, train derailments and more to worry about, but cyber attacks are a growing risk. Are you ready to get ready?
Join other local businesses at the Gorge Rural Business Emergency Planning and Preparation Workshop on May 15th at the Stevenson Community Library from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a free workshop for small businesses and non-profits. Lunch will be provided. The event is sponsored by Community Enrichment of Klickitat and Skamania County, Skamania County Chamber of Commerce, Skamania County EDC, IQ Credit Union and more. The Washington Department of Emergency Management will be leading the workshop. Additional resources will be provided from SCORE and other agencies. Register at brownpapertickets.com/event/3381008
