November 18, 1pm
Instructed by Derek Lindemyer
Dream Catchers, sometimes referred to as sacred hoops, were traditionally used as talismans to protect sleeping people. They were hung near a sleeping person, and all bad dreams are caught in the web to be burned by first light of the morning. Good dreams pass through the holes and down the feathers onto the sleeping person, leaving them protected. In this workshop, Derek will teach you more about the significance and importance of these traditional works of art, while instructing you in creating your very own Dream Catcher.
This class is limited to 8 students and is open to adults only (18+ years). No experience necessary; come ready to learn. This two-hour workshop is free to the community. Due to limited seats available, please be certain you can attend before registering.
